The role
The M&M Service Engineer is a position with high levels of management responsibility, with hands on supervision. It will be your job to oversee to following throughout the life of the assigned project:
Manage personnel (schedule, coordinate travel, time sheets and supervision on site)
Order and manage materials
Maintain project budget
Customer contracts
Monitor safety
Service and daily reporting, record keeping
Troubleshooting, system testing and commissioning
Successful, timely, accurate completion of project and goals
The person
To be considered for this position you will hold an engineering or equal degree. You must have previously worked on and serviced marine electrical installations and equipment (including but not limited to: switchboards, breakers, protection devices, automation, controls systems, fire alarms, and refurbishments). Good communication skills are necessary along with the ability to work with personnel in all levels of the organization and customers. You must be: a self-starter with the ability to work without supervision, a strong manger as well as team player, like to travel extensively, and don’t get seasick. Proven record of safety and effective management must be provided.
