Our team

Craig Johnson: President. LNG / Cruise; Craig graduated from the Maine Maritime Academy with a Degree in Marine Engineering and holds a Senior Engineering License. Craig has experience with Fortune 500 Energy and Transportation Companies holding positions worldwide in the marine field.

After some years at sea on Tankers, Craig took a technical position ashore with Amerada Hess. He then moved up to Engineering Manager with RRSC. Later, Craig joined Carnival Corporation as Manager Maritime Audit Systems, specializing in due diligence for New Buildings, Safety and Environment. He also carried out management assessments for a Fleet of 52 Vessels, Terminals, and Shipyards. Most recently Craig worked in US and International assignments for Seabulk International (SEACOR) working as a Director of vessels, ranging from Offshore Vessels to Chemical Tankers.

Craig joined Faststream in early 2006 to open the US business for Faststream Recruitment Ltd specializing in the maritime sector. He assists clients ranging from Energy Majors to Third Party Managers to meet the challenges and opportunities of LNG recruitment from Executive level to Manager level positions.; cjohnson@faststream.us

Jack Mylott: Manager. Ports, Terminals & Logistics; Jack has more than 20 years experience in the maritime and logistics industry. He specializes in searches across many industries including shipping, transportation, ports, terminals, logistics, supply chain, purchasing, distribution, and many more. His clients range from large publicly held multinationals to family owned private corporations.

Jack's professional experience includes senior executive positions with two major ocean carriers, as well as experience running a successful entrepreneurial venture. Jack is a graduate of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, and also earned a MBA from St. John’s University. He has served as an officer in the U.S. Naval Reserve, and resides with his family in South Florida.; jmylott@faststream.us

Tim Green: Vice President. Commercial Marine; Tim Green joined Faststream Recruitment in May of 2007 as Managing Consultant. In addition to assisting in the day to day management of the North American office, Tim also heads the commercial marine division at Faststream. Prior to joining Faststream, Tim spent 7 years as Manager of Sales at SeaWave LLC, providing satellite communications and IT solutions for the maritime industry.

Tim is a 1994 graduate of the US Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point and a licensed deck officer. He is married with two children and active in coaching youth sports in the area.; tgreen@faststream.us

Matt Fuhrman: Senior Consultant - Marine Transportation; Matt graduated from the United States Merchant Marine Academy – Kings Point in 2005 with a B.S in Logistics and Intermodal Transportation and a USCG 3rd Mate Unlimited Tonnage License. Upon graduation Matt took his commission as an Ensign in the Naval Reserves and was taken on at POMTOC (Port of Miami Terminal Operating Company) as a Terminal Superintendent.

After 2 years at the Port of Miami, Matt came to Faststream Recruitment to work as a Maritime Recruitment Consultant in December of 2006. The position enables Matt to use his experience within the Maritime Industry to successfully recruit sea-going and shore-based shipping candidates in positions through The Americas. Mick Tansey: Maritime Consultant; Mick has a B.S. in Marine Engineering Systems from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. He also has a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Florida. Mick has worked in the Nuclear Test Department at the Pearl Harbour Naval Shipyard, sailed deep-sea for Maersk Line and Chevron Shipping Company, and holds a 1st Assistant Engineers license. Mick is active in the Academy Alumni network as well in a number of civic associations.

Mick currently recruits marine engineers for the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) market in the Americas region.; mtansey@faststream.us
