Craig Johnson
President
Craig graduated from the Maine Maritime Academy with a Degree in Marine Engineering and holds a Senior Engineering License. Craig has experience with Fortune 500 Energy and Transportation Companies holding positions worldwide in the marine field.

After some years at sea on Tankers, Craig took a technical position ashore with Amerada Hess. He then moved up to Engineering Manager with RRSC. Later, Craig joined Carnival Corporation as Manager Maritime Audit Systems, specializing in due diligence for New Buildings, Safety and Environment. He also carried out management assessments for a Fleet of 52 Vessels, Terminals, and Shipyards. Most recently Craig worked in US and International assignments for Seabulk International (SEACOR) working as a Director of vessels, ranging from Offshore Vessels to Chemical Tankers.

Craig joined Faststream in early 2006 to open the US business for Faststream Recruitment Ltd specializing in the maritime sector. He assists clients ranging from Energy Majors to Third Party Managers to meet the challenges and opportunities of LNG recruitment from Executive level to Manager level positions.

Tim Green
Vice President
Tim Green  joined Faststream Recruitment in April of 2007. Tim manages the day to day operations of our US region, as well as leading the Oil and Gas group.  Prior to joining Faststream, Tim spent 7 years as Manager of Sales at SeaWave LLC, providing satellite communications and IT solutions for both the maritime and oil and gas sector. He has an extensive network that allows him to make senior level placements throughout the industry.

Tim is a 1994 graduate of the US Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point, a licensed deck officer and former naval reserve officer. He is married with two children and active in coaching youth sports in the area, as well as involved in several civic and alumni organizations in South Florida.

Jack Mylott
Executive Consultant, The Meeting House
With more than 20 years of international and maritime business experience, Jack leads  senior search assignments in a broad array of sectors including shipping, transportation, logistics, supply chain, oil & gas, and engineering services.

He conducts a wide variety of assignments including C level executives, division presidents, general managers, and managing heads of business units across multiple functional areas, such as sales, marketing, operations, finance, technology, and engineering disciplines.  Jack’s searches encompass domestic and international roles.

Jack's professional experience includes senior executive positions with two major ship owning ocean carriers, as well as starting up and leading a successful entrepreneurial venture.  His international experience covers responsibility for operations in Europe, Asia, the Caribbean, and throughout the Americas.  Jack is a graduate of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, and also earned a master’s degree in business administration from St. John’s University. He has served as an officer in the U.S. Naval Reserve, and is an active leader in many industry and community organizations.

Matt Fuhrman
Senior Consultant, Oil & Gas Specialist
Matt has been working as a Senior Consultant for Faststsream Recruitment in the United States since 2006. He had the fortunate experience to join the company during its infancy and experienced rapid growth over the last 4 years while focusing on the maritime recruitment industry. Now he has stepped out to tackle the Oil & Gas industry and the needs for technical and operational talent for upstream, midstream, and downstream companies focusing on the world’s energy needs.

Matt graduated from the United States Merchant Marine Academy – Kings Point in 2005 with a BS degree in Logistics and Intermodal Transportation and holds a USCG 3rd Mate Unlimited License. He worked as a Marine Terminal Superintendent for the Port of Miami Terminal Operating Company prior to Faststream and is currently serving in the US Naval Reserves as a Lieutenant.  He is married with a daughter living on South Beach, FL.

Mick Tansey
Consultant
Mick has a B.S. in Marine Engineering Systems from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. He also has a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Florida. Mick has worked in the Nuclear Test Department at the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, sailed deep-sea for Maersk Line and Chevron Shipping Company, and holds a 1st Assistant Engineers license. Mick is active in the Academy Alumni network as well in a number of civic associations.

Mick currently recruits marine engineers for the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) market in the Americas region.

Sheila Maude Lafleur
Senior Consultant
Sheila (Maude) LaFleur graduated from the California Maritime Academy in 2002 with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Law. Upon graduation she sailed deep sea with Military Sealift Command and obtained her Unlimited Masters License. In her 7 years at sea she gained experience on a variety of shipping platforms including tankers, salvage tugs, break-bulk and multi-product carriers. She  has spent most of her sea going career in Asia and the Middle East delivering supplies and combat logistics for the military.

Upon coming shore side in February of 2009 she is working with the Marine Transpiration group at Faststream to recruit West Coast maritime candidates and clientele. She is very active in her alumni network and has several family members who are maritime graduates as well.

Sheila also enjoys running and traveling to the far corners of the globe. She is married to a Kings Point Alum and together they enjoy fishing and boating in South Florida.

Rebecca Allen
Consultant
Rebecca is a graduate of Maine Maritime Academy, having earned two degrees; a M.S. in Global Supply Chain Management and a B.S. in International Business & Logistics.   Prior to joining the Faststream team, Rebecca has worked in the maritime industry at Royal Caribbean Cruise, Ltd., and Federal Marine Terminals.  Rebecca is an active member in WISTA and local volleyball leagues.

Mickey Belgrod
Consultant
Mickey is a Specialist Recruiter managing the US Sea Going department of Faststream Recruitment.  Mickey earned his Bachelor of Science degree upon graduation from the United States Merchant Marine Academy, where his focus was on Logistics and Intermodal Transportation.  Mickey took his commission as an officer in the Naval Reserve and sailed on his USCG 3rd Mate Unlimited Tonnage License with Kirby Inland Marine.

With Kirby Inland Marine, Mickey spent several years learning the River and Inland Waterway system, earning his USCG Towing Endorsement, and subsequently Piloting towboats throughout the River system.  This position enhanced his technical skill-set as a vessel operator, which in turn enabled him to understand the motivations of his fellow mariners.  He went on to join the Faststream Group in order to expand his knowledge of the business side of the industry and use his people skills to help other mariners find permanent roles with stable maritime employers.
